Firstly, thank you for visiting our site! You've taken the first step in joining the co-working revolution! And for that reason, you rock! Woo hoo!
I'm guessing now you want to know... 'What the devil is it?'
Co-working started up in the Silicon Valley in sunny California when an influx of tiny business and one man bands started up. They had all of the talent and knowledge of their business, but nowhere aside from their bedroom/kitchen/bar/beach/garden to get their work done - and on days that they really needed to focus on an attention essential task, whether it was future planning or administration, they were distracted by TV/kids/any other task that was going! (cleaning the oven & watching Friends repeats suddenly seem essential!)
...this is when the co-working revolution came about! People joined forces and started up co-working spaces (just like our Creative Space) so that they could work, be inspired, plan, and most importantly network. Not necessarily the traditional notion of networking, entering a scary room of new faces and having to think up a jaw droppingly awesome elevator speech, but simply doing a bit of work and meeting some new peeps at the same time - perhaps finding out that you have common goals or expectations or that you have solutions to each others problems- even with the chance of doing a bit of collaboration.
So, are you getting a bit lonely working on your own? Are the kids/girlfriend/cat/ Jeremy Kyle distracting you? Is your head bubbling over with ideas and you need some time and space to make these into something special? Or is your current work space not inspiring you? Get into some co-working and get that business plan in action!

"Having been in business for almost 6 years I am astonished that someone has not introduced a concept like Creative Space to the North East of Scotland sooner! Working for myself often means working at home or rather supposedly working at home, where there is always a distraction. Creative Space has allowed me to set aside time slots in the week to get my head down, to become totally productive and focused. It is a great space to work in but also great to make contact with other lone workers in an open, creative and happy environment. The facilities provided are also amazing too including Caber Coffee. I honestly can’t recommend this any more highly. Why not pop into the next Jelly to see for yourself what working in Creative Space can do for you and your business."
The Creative Space is exactly the type of working environment we needed to get our new business off the ground. When starting a business, young entrepreneurs need all the support they can get, and the Creative Space gave us the opportunity to work beside experienced entrepreneurs who have "been there, done that". It's a really cool place to work too; with funky furniture, awesome facilities, and as it's only a five minute walk from the city centre, it's really easy to get to. The Creative Space provides the perfect balance of effective collaboration and productive quietness when you need to get your head down! We love the creative space and highly recommend it to all!"
